Performance - crotchet = 96bpm
Jazz-Etudiette is from Easy Dances II.
In the original version, published in 1937, it is notated in 2/2 time and the metronome mark is minim = 96 bpm. However, the ABRSM suggest playing from the version in The Young Pianists Repertoire, Book 1 (Faber) where it's notated in 4/4 time and given a metronome mark of crotchet = 96; half the speed of the original.
I am grateful to Mark for drawing my attention to this.
The first video is the more recent and is at the slower tempo. In the second video you'll be able to hear it at the original, quicker tempo.
