We can be part of a band, even whilst sat comfortably at home.

It's tricky, especially in the early stages of developing our musical skills. We have to listen, not only to ourselves but to the rest of the band too. Crucially, we've got to all be playing at the same tempo!

Whilst great for practice and concerts perhaps, we aren't allowed to play with these backing tracks in an exam, either a face-to-face exam (Practical Grade) or a digital assessment (Performance Grade).

The ultimate setup would be to play them through a decent speaker system.

Good headphones or earbuds are another great solution.

Playing through a phone, tablet or computer speakers would be very disappointing, we wouldn't be able to hear the bass and the kit would sound awful!
